Client contacts can be added into the ScopeBetter platform in two ways, individually via the specific client page or in bulk via our contact uploader.
To add a client contact individually firstly you need to click on the 'Manage' tab select Clients and then choose your individual client.
Once you have selected your chosen client, scroll down to the Key Contacts section click 'Add Contact and complete the below pop-up form.
In order to bulk add contacts into the ScopeBetter platform users can use our uploader that allows users to upload client's contacts from an Excel file.
In order to use this feature user needs to open Manage -> Clients page and
( 1 ) Click (...) button
( 2 ) Click Upload Contacts
After 'Upload Contacts' popup was open user has few options:
( 1 ) 'Generate Template' link allows the user to download an empty client's contacts import file. This file may be filled with valid client's contacts data and used for import. (Note: all fields are required)
( 2 ) 'Instruction Manual' link will redirect the user to a page with upload instructions
( 3 ) Upload the completed file using the 'Browse' button
( 4 ) Before the user can upload client's contacts, the upload file should be validated by the scope system
If any invalid or data is missing in the uploaded file, the system will suggest to user to download the generated import excel file. That file will highlight all missing or invalid data marked with colours. The user may fix all highlighted data and upload this file back to the scope system.
After the file is successfully validated, the user will see a success message and will be able to upload the client's contacts. Uploaded client's contacts will be displayed on the clients details page after a short delay.
