Invite member
As a scope user you can form a team to work on scopes. First of all, user should invite members. For these purposes you should navigate to 'Manage' -> 'Members' tab and click 'Add Member' button.
After that, 'Add Member' popup should be displayed. On displayed popup you should:
(1) type email of the member, which you want to invite into scope team
(2) select member access level (member or administrator)
(3) select permission profile for selected access level
Click 'Confirm' button and an invitation email will be sent.
Member approvals
An invited team member should open received email and navigate on 'Join the Scope' link. After completion of registration, member will have his own scope account and will be a part of the users team.
Now user should specify which permission invited member should have (we will cover that later). After that, on the scope 'Team' tab, user may invite any team member with permission to scope team.
There are three roles available for a member in the scope team: 'Collaborator', 'Reviewer' and 'Approver'.
First role which we will discuss is 'Collaborator'.
Each role depends on permissions which member receives from the user. By default team member is able to see only scopes to which he was invited or which he had created and not able to add any discounts for scope or deliverable. But able to delete and create new deliverables and scopes. Regardless that this sounds complicated all permissions very easy to set up for each user personally or create a permission profile and apply it for every member of the team. And all this can be done in a few clicks.
When all permissions are enabled and saved, we can discuss 'Collaborator' role responsibilities. Collaborator with rightly setup permissions should be able to edit the entire scope, track activity, see the breakdown, manage output an invite new team members for scope.
Invitation to the scope team
To invite collaborator user should:
(1) open scope details tab
(2) switch to team tab
(3) click 'Add Team Member'
(4) populate the input field of 'Add Collaborator' with team member email. Note that multiple collaborators can be added at once.
Collaborator role
After the existing member was added into the scope collaborator list will be updated with a new team member. There one important thing about the 'Collaborator' role. It has two subtypes: regular role 'Collaborator' and 'Super Collaborator'. 'Super Collaborator' is able to submit scopes overriding all other collaborators. Super collaborator role could be assigned to a regular collaborator on the team tab or by applying special approval permissions on the 'Members' - 'Member' - 'Approvals' tab.
Each collaborator should submit his owns work or super collaborator could submit all at once.
How to remove collaborator from scope team
If a user needs to remove some of scope team collaborators it can be done with great ease. For this just:
(1) open scope details
(2) click action button for team member (three-dotted circle button)
(3) click delete button
After these manipulations, the team member role will be removed and he or she loses all permissions to work with scope according to revoked role. But he or she will be able to see scope unless this permission will be revoked.
