What is a Rate Card used for?
A Rate Card is used to store in the system the structure (departments and roles), rates and costs of your organisation. Multiple Rate Cards can be stored within the Scope Better Platform and can be applied to one or many clients.
To create a rate card you should go to ( 1 ) Manage -> ( 2 ) Rate Cards and click ( 3 ) Add rate card button. 'Create Ratecard' modal window will be displayed.
You should provide ( 1 ) Ratecard Name, select ( 2 ) currency for all specified rates and costs and, if necessary, select ( 3 ) rate card structure. Click on ( 4 ) 'Start building Ratecard' button to go to the 'Rate Card' page. ( 5 ) 'Cancel' button allows user to cancel the creation of Rate Card.
You can change ( 1 ) Ratecard Name, select ( 2 ) currency for all specified rates and costs and choose whether is this rate card ( 3 ) default for all the clients being created. Current rate card version ( 4 ). User can switch to any previous version, the old version will be available in read-only mode. Latest version will be always used for the creation of new scopes.
Switch to table view ( 5 ) allows user to switch viewing mode.
Cancel ( 6 ) button allows user to leave ratecard.
Save ( 7 ) save all changes in ratecard.
To create a department type in ( 1 ) department name and click ( 2 ) Add. Already added departments can be ( 3 ) edited or ( 4 ) deleted.
To add roles to the department select it, type in ( 5 ) role name, rate and cost, and click ( 6 ) Add. Already added roles can be ( 7 ) deleted.
Select already added role in a department. Left section of the rate card page is used for role configuration -- role editing and ScopeMark Role mapping.
Note: ScopeMark roles are standard across all agencies in the sector. If you map your agency role to a standard Scope role, it becomes visible as a resource of a component in Deliverable Builder wherever the mapped standard Scope role exists.
Use edit icons to change ( 1 ) role name, rate and cost. To map a ScopeMark role select ( 2 ) role type and ( 3 ) role discipline, specify value and click ( 4 ) Add. To delete existing mapping use ( 5 ) Delete icon.
Note: Agency role can be bound to one ScopeMark role only.
Agency role and selected Role Type can be mapped to either one Role Discipline or All Role Disciplines.
If you map your agency role to a standard Scope role and select one Role Discipline from the list, it becomes visible as a component resource in Deliverable Builder where the mapped standard Scope role exists for the selected particular Role Discipline.
However, If you map your agency role to a standard Scope role and select All Role Discipline option, it becomes available as a component resource in Deliverable Builder wherever the mapped standard Scope role appears.
When you create a deliverable, you have to select Deliverable Type from the list which is associated with a Role Discipline. This simply means that every Deliverable Type has its own group which is called Role Discipline .
Role Disciplines are added into the Platform via the Data tab within the 'Manage' section of the platform.
When on Rate Cards page click View on a selected rate card to open rate card view page. If you are allowed to make any changes, Save button will be displayed. Users then have the ability to edit/add/delete roles, departments, costs and fees within the rate card.
